Boil Advisory Today

The Portland Water Bureau just issued a "boil notice" for most of Portland's west side, due to e. coli found in the supply. This affects the South Waterfront.

"All tap water within the defined area used for drinking, food preparation, and ice should be boiled at a full rolling boil for at least one minute. Ice or any beverages prepared with tap water after Thursday, July 19 should be discarded.  The bacteria found were total coliforms and E.coli. "

What to do if you've already drank a bunch of the water since Friday (like our household)?  Not sure...I guess we just wait and see. So far so good.
